About Plentifully
Plentifully is a cash-free community app and sharing network that helps Twin Cities neighbors swap and donate homegrown food, seeds, tools, supplies, and know-how locally.
We are building first with Minneapolis and St. Paul growers, gardeners, community garden members, neighbors, food access supporters, and local partners.
Our mission
Make it easier for Twin Cities neighbors to swap, donate, and share local abundance so good food and garden resources stay close to home.
What is Plentifully?
Plentifully is a people-powered, cash-free community app for growers, gardeners, community gardens, neighbors, and local partners who want to share what they have and request what they need.
Members can list surplus produce, seeds, seedlings, garden tools, supplies, skills, or donation listings. No buying, selling, listing fees, or credit cards are required.
We help communities organize swaps and donations online and, over time, through local partnerships and future pickup hubs, so extra harvests, unused supplies, and underused tools become shared resources instead of waste.
We are starting in the Twin Cities, building first with Minneapolis and St. Paul neighbors, growers, and local partners to make sharing easier, safer, and more useful close to home.
How Plentifully Works
Plentifully makes it simple to list what you have, request what you need, and coordinate swaps or donations with nearby neighbors as Twin Cities listings, future hubs, and local partnerships grow.
1. Join Early Access
Create an account, choose your nearby area, and start seeing local activity as listings grow.
Example: Share your general area so Plentifully can connect you with nearby listings, future hubs, and community activity as they grow.
2. List what you have or request what you need
Post your surplus harvest, tools, seeds, supplies, or create a simple request for what you are looking for.
Example: Post 10 extra zucchini and mention that you are open to swapping for herbs, compost, saved seeds, or a tool loan.
3. Connect with nearby neighbors
Plentifully is starting with early Twin Cities members and future local hubs, so your listings and requests help shape where activity grows first.
Example: A neighbor offers extra basil and a wheelbarrow loan in exchange for your zucchini.
4. Coordinate a safe local pickup
Coordinate a pickup at a visible public place, community garden, partner location, local event, or future pickup hub that works for both people.
Example: Meet at a visible public place, community garden, partner location, or future pickup hub to complete the swap or donation.
Got extra to give, not to swap?
Mark your listing as a donation when you have extra produce, seeds, tools, or supplies to give. No one-to-one trade is required. Where possible, Plentifully helps connect donations with nearby neighbors, mutual aid groups, community pantries, food access groups, and local partner organizations.

Our Values
Community first
We start with people, not products. Strong local relationships are more important than any single swap.
Reciprocity
Everyone has something to offer. We design Plentifully so giving, receiving, and swapping all feel fair, useful, and respectful.
Safety and care
We prioritize clear communication, visible pickup options, safe sharing practices, and tools that help neighbors build trust over time.
Inclusion
Whether you have a large garden, a small balcony, extra supplies, local skills, or no growing space at all, there is a place for you in this network.
Transparency
We communicate how the platform works, how decisions are made, and how communities can shape what comes next.
Stewardship
We believe in taking care of land, food, and each other. Reducing waste, sharing abundance, and supporting local resilience are at the heart of Plentifully.
